Many people ask me what lenses I use for my Travel and landscape Photography? The reply i give is the one that suits my style and gives me the best rendition and performance I can afford without breaking the bank!

For City work, seascapes/landscapes/ temples/transport and in all types of light I would have to say (for me at least) the Canon 15-85mm IS USM. A fantastically versatile focal range and beautiful quality glass, usually found on Canon's L series of lenses.

They broke the mould with this one! originally optimised and distributed with the infamous Classic Canon 7D, it won many over for its sharpness and wonderful colour rendition.

You will also see some very demanding night time photography taken in very poor light conditions, it is not just down to the technicality of the 77D camera but also the ability of the glass to maintain sharpness and colour whilst being used in such conditions.

Enough of my waxing lyrical, I will let the images speak for themselves, and by no means a professional, just a long-time traveller whose passion is recording things everywhere I go.

This lens which is on my camera 90% of the time on account I can't find anything to beat it! Totally underrated.

I let the photos speak for themselves. These images are with the 24mm 2.8 STM lens in combination with the Canon M5. Which makes for a great street photography combo.
